General AASL Rules and Information

-The AASL encourages and expects that all participants will show sportsmanship to the referees, their teammates and other teams. This league is designed to have fun and encourages players to not take themselves or the competition too seriously. Any un-sportsmanlike behavior can result in a player/team being suspended for a determined length of time by the AASL.

-The AASL will provide all equipment (not gloves in case of softball), field/facility rental, and each participant will receive an AASL t-shirt and beer specials to be determined at Mister Days.

-All games must start on time and end an hour following the start time.

-Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages will be permitted at the fields or facilities! The beer specials will be waiting for the participants at the sponsor bars! Also, the AASL and its participants must keep the fields and facilities clean and trash-free.

-All players will sign a waiver to play in the league.

-The AASL will allow teams to collect funds from a business as long as they don't conflict with any of our partners or bar sponsors. The AASL will not accept any checks that are in direct competition with our partners or sponsors as determined by the AASL. If it is determined that a team was sponsored by a direct competitor, they will not be allowed to make the playoffs and will not be allowed back for the following season.

-The AASL will have the right to shorten the regular season and/or playoff schedule if inclement weather causes extreme circumstances. Make-up games can be scheduled for a day that is not the regularly scheduled game day. No refunds at all will be given if the AASL is forced to make any schedule changes.

-If there is a game cancellation, it will be noted on the website, you will receive an email, and the coach will be called. It will be the coach's responsibility to make sure all team members know the status of the game.

-The AASL t-shirts are your team uniforms. Only participants on your team roster can wear your team t-shirt. You may add a player's name or number to a t-shirt if you'd like, but no player/team is allowed to add any promotional material or company name.
