Playoffs will be Sunday, June 8 unless there are weather delays. The top 12 teams will make playoffs.

SEASON:
This is a flag co-ed football league. It is 7 vs. 7 format. Each team will play 7 regular season games. The season begins Sunday, April 13 . Games times will range from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. start times. Play-offs will be held Sunday, June 8. The number of teams that make it to the play-offs will be determined by the AASL.
MAKE-UPS:
If a game is cancelled due to inclement weather, make-up games may be scheduled on the another day than usual game days or made up the week after the regular season ends. Blast emails will be sent to the coaches when games are cancelled, it will be posted on the website, or you can call Megan at (703) 599-2983.
LOCATIONS:
H.B. Woodlawn Upper & Lower Field
FEES:
The charge will be $550.00 per team BUT there will be no additional fees for the number of players. The charge for individuals will be $65.00. You may pay by cash or check. Checks must be made out to AASL.
The league fee includes, 7 games in the AASL football league, 2 AASL referees per field, equipment, AASL football t-shirts for every participant and Heineken Light specials after the games.
The $250.00 deposit will be collected at the coaches meeting. The remainder of their balance will be collected at their first game. If the team does not have the remainder of their balance, they will not be allowed to play until they do so and that will count as a forfeit.
Individual checks will be accepted to make it easier on the people, however, teams will receive a 5% discount to their total league fees if they pay with 1 check AND in full at the coaches meeting. If you pay online thru paypal, you do NOT receive the 5% discount because paypal does take out a percentage.
