Bowling Rules

AASL Bowling (Co-ed 5’s) Rules and Information:

OVERVIEW:

  • League Scoring: Scores will be calculated on Bowl America computers. Each of the team’s five scores is added together and the team with the higher score wins.
  • For league standings:
    • Win counts as 2 points
    • Loss counts as 1 point
    • Forfeit counts as 0 points
  • Your team will have its own lane, but it will bowl next to the team you are playing.
  • The one game at the designated start time counts for the AASL schedule. Games should take your team approximately an hour. Your team is welcome to stay and play another game, but you must pay for it separately.
  • Each team must bowl with no more than 3 males. You can have more than 2 females bowl for your team. For the game to count and not be a forfeit, you must have atleast 3 people bowl, atleast one female. You would obviously be at a disadvantage, but the game could still count.
  • If you have more than 5 people, you can designate multiple people to bowl in 1 position on the score sheet. If multiple people bowl for 1 position, they must be the same gender. Ex.: 2 females can bowl 10 frames and alternate for one of the female positions or 2 males can bowl 10 frames for one of the male positions.
  • Have a great season and have fun!
